JSTOR
JSTOR (an acronym for Journal Storage) is a non-profit effort to build a reliable and comprehensive archive of important scholarly journal literature. Comprised of full-text journals, the Consortium Library collection emphasizes the arts and sciences. You will not find the most recent articles in JSTOR, but you will find everything before the last several years.
Clicking on the link brings you to a single search box; you're often better off clicking on 'Advanced Search' above the right end of the search box. You'll have more options and if you scroll down, you can specify a subject set of journals, such as Archaeology. But where is the peer review check box?!! Well, scholarly is easy in JSTOR, but peer reviewed is more difficult because much of what is in JSTOR is earlier than the beginnings of the peer review system!
