Blackboard Library Resources Tool

This topic guide provides information about the Blackboard Library Resources Tool.

Librarians Can Help

In Summer 2019, the Consortium Library unveiled an exciting new tool in Blackboard that automatically adds key library content to support your courses. A pilot with select courses from a range of disciplines was completed and feedback from students and faculty was overwhelmingly positive.

You will see a link in the navigation menu called “Library Resources.” It will direct students to tailored, subject-specific library guides. This new tool will support student success by providing access to library materials alongside other course information without leaving the Blackboard shell.

If this tool is not displaying the content you expect, please contact Lorelei Sterling, Head of Access Services, Consortium Library at lsterling@alaska.edu.
