How to Borrow Alaska Digital Library Titles

Once you've signed in to your Alaska Digital Library account, you can borrow (check out) titles. You can do this either by selecting Borrow under the cover image or by clicking or tapping the cover image to go to the title's details page (where you can see extra details and options for the title before you borrow it). The title details page allows you to change the default lending period. (You can set the default lending period that you prefer in your My Account settings.)

Next, click on the Go To Loans button or the bookshelf icon  books icon to go to your Loans page to see all your options for borrowed titles.

From the Loans page, you can open the title right in your web browser or download the title. Click or tap the Read in browser (or Listen in browser) button to start reading/listening to your title immediately. If you would like to download the title for offline use, you can select the format you would like to download here.
