When to use newspaper articles

Newspapers appear every day or every few days in thousands of places around the world. Newspaper articles especially useful in two situations:

  • when you need information on a local event that is not covered in national or global sources
  • when you need information on something that just happened (whether that's yesterday or a few months ago)

The library has several databases that, taken together, cover thousands of newspapers.
