Use Interlibrary Loan & Doc Delivery (ILL) to request a copy of an article from a journal in another library.
Create an account if you've not used ILL before by entering your Blackboard login.
Copies of articles generally take two to seven days, depending on whether the lending library can send the documents electronically. For more information, read the FAQs on the ILL page.
Search the Alaska Library Catalog for books and other materials in the Consortium Library and other libraries in Alaska.
Helpful tips:
If you know the title of the book, choose Title and enter the title of the book in the search box.
If you are searching for books on a topic, choose Subject or Keyword.
If a book that you want is already checked out, you can place a HOLD so the book cannot be renewed and you will be notified when it is returned.
Locate the item in the catalog and click on Place a Hold on the far right. Enter your UAA student # and PIN (last 4 digits of your student #) and choose the pick-up location.
To find books in other libraries, search WorldCat.
