Information about borrowing laptops and other technology.

COVID-19 Restrictions

We are open to current University of Alaska or Alaska Pacific University students, staff, and faculty.

  • You MUST have your UA or APU ID and use the card swipe system to enter the building.
  • Unless you are fully vaccinated, masks are required in all university facilities and in all classrooms per University Policy.
  • Check the Library Services: COVID-19 page for the most current information before visiting.

³ Due to COVID-19, headphones are yours to keep rather than borrow. Ask at the Circulation Desk for more information.

How much does this cost?

Items are free to borrow. If you fail to return the equipment on time, you will be charged $1 per hour up to our replacement cost of the item.

Anything else I should know?

Checking out equipment is a privilege. You are expected to return items in the same condition as when they were borrowed. Damage and/or abuse will result in the revocation of the privilege.
