Mat-Su College: Statistics

Some databases have options to let you narrow your search results down to datasets (or articles that come with datasets). This can be useful. Here we look at two such databases:

• QuickSearch
• Web of Science

QuickSearch is featured prominently on the Mat-Su College library homepage. It is the default search.

In the search results, you can type "data" into the "Content Type" filter. That will give you a "Data Set" checkbox. Check this to limit your search results to data sets or articles that come with data.

Web of Science is a good science database. It also lets you limit to data sets.
In your search results, there is an "Associated data" quick filter checkbox.
