ENGL 478 Public Science Writing

This course guide will help you locate information for your public science research project.

Schedule of Events

At 1pm David Reamer, public historian, will demonstrate some Wikipedia basics and share his own story of climbing the Wikipedia learning curve
 
At 1:30 pm Gwendolyn Higgins, UAA archives librarian, will share how to use the digital archives to add photographs to Wikipedia articles
 
At 1:45 Libby Roderick, associate director of the Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence, will share stories about Orville Huntington
 
At 2:30 Kaare Erickson, graduate student in anthropology, will share his research on scientist collaborations in Utqiagvik (Barrow)
 
At 3:15 Micah Muer, Matanuska College librarian, will talk about wikipedia and libraries
