The UAA/APU Consortium Library administered a survey (the LibQUAL Library Service Quality Survey) in the fall of 2011. We received 3,500 survey responses from both the UAA and APU communities, including 1,832 individual comments. Overall, the results of the survey were favorable but we found that there are some aspects of the library experience that need attention and improvement.
This guide was created to directly address some of the feedback that we received from our patrons - students, faculty, and staff. We hope this answers some of your more pressing questions about the library, and what we are doing to respond to your ideas and make improvements to the facility, resources, and services that will help us better meet your needs.
The Consortium Library has now conducted the LibQUAL Survey three times, in 2008, 2011, and 2014. This FAQ was updated in 2016 with current information.
