Subject Liaison Librarians

Library faculty work as liasions with specific departments, programs, and schools.  Your subject liasion librarian can provide:

    • library research instruction
    • curriculum and accreditation support
    • research consultations to students and faculty
    • library materials for teaching and research


    Course Reserves

    Course Reserves allows instructors to place materials in the library for the use of their students.  Instructors can set the checkout time for their reserve materials.  More information...


    Library Research Instruction for Your Students

    Library faculty will customize instruction session(s) to fit the needs of your students based on the particular subjects, materials, and online resources you wish to have covered.

    The library also offers a one credit library research skills course online through Blackboard.

    There is also a how-to guide with ideas for teaching students information literacy skills.


    Incorporating Library Content

    Instructors can incorporate library content in Blackboard and other web pages to provide access for their students.  These resources can be subscription journal articles, ebooks, streaming media, and more.
