The library provides several databases that collect lots of data on companies in order to produce easy-to-read profiles.
- MarketLine Company Profiles. Detailed company information, including SWOT analyses. This tool can also be accessed from Business Source Premier by clicking "Company Profiles" at the top of the page.
- MergentOnline. "In-depth business and financial information for over 11,000 U.S. public companies and over 1 million private companies. Includes presentation-quality, one-page summary equity reports, updated quarterly, for more than 1,500 NYSE, NASDAQ and AMEX companies. Financial data can be downloaded into Microsoft Excel."
- ReferenceUSA. "Data on businesses, health care providers, and consumers. Company information is searchable by SIC/NAICS codes or key words, and sortable by size of company, company income, geographic location, etc. This is a great resource for marketing studies." Data on 56 million U.S. businesses, including more than 1,700 in Palmer, Alaska alone.
