Foundations
The mission of Foundations is to provide a forum for undergraduates to publish their historical research. It receives submissions from schools both large and small in the United States and throughout the world. Foundations is published biannually (Fall and Spring) with each new issue appearing primarily online, along with a compendium end-of-the-year print edition.

History Matters: Undergrad Journal of Historical Research
History Matters is an undergraduate history journal, published annually on this website by the Department of History at Appalachian State University. The journal is edited by undergraduates with the help of a faculty board. Their goal is to publish the best undergraduate historical research possible. In doing so, we would like to provide an opportunity for top undergraduates from a variety of schools to be recognized for their work, familiarize them with the publishing process, and encourage student-faculty collaboration.

Interdisciplinary Studies:

Discussions
Discussions is a peer reviewed research journal at Case Western Reserve University. It features research papers, review articles, and scholarly essays written by undergraduate students from any field. Its primary aims are to foster academic dialogue and to provide an opportunity for undergraduates to publish their scholarly work.

Explorations
Explorations is a student-run journal guided by faculty and administrators that selects and publishes student-authored articles of general interest in any area.  Recently published articles have been from a wide range of academic fields: music, creative poetry, forensics, cancer biology, astrophysics, nanomedicine, computer algorithms, business, geosciences, sociology, aerospace engineering, and cultural anthropology.

Journal of Undergraduate International Studies
Published in the fall, this peer-reviewed journal seeks to publish the best undergraduate work across the country related to international themes and topics including, but not limited to: international conflict and conflict resolution, human rights, environmental issues, history, comparative politics and economics, development and trade, global security and international health.

Journal of Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Excellence
The Journal of Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Excellence publishes extraordinary undergraduate work in an easily accessible and professional peer-reviewed journal. Our mission is to print outstanding undergraduate research, scholarly articles, and creative works in order to make them available to the public and connect the worldwide community of college undergraduates.

Student Pulse
Both undergraduate and graduate students are invited to submit. As a multidisciplinary publication, we accept submissions on virtually all academic topics.
