This is another large business database with company, industry, and country reports, scholarly journals and ebooks, videos, dissertations, newspapers, and more. Includes content from ABI/INFORM and J.P. Morgan Research. Contains the full-text of the Wall Street Journal and Alaska trade publications Alaska Business Monthly and the Alaska Journal of Commerce.

U.S. Census Bureau provides a goldmine of statistics and other data on people, housing, and business and industry. Advanced search options can help you zero in on the data you need.

Search the domestic and international Industry Profiles and Market Research Reports for information to include in your business plan.
Alaska Business & Commercial links from SLED
Alaska's Statewide Library Electronic Doorway includes many links to useful business and economic data (e.g., Alaska Economic Trends) that can be used to support the demograhic portion of a local business plan.
ReferenceUSA
Data on businesses, health care providers, and consumers. Company information is searchable by SIC/NAICS codes or key words, and sortable by size of company, company income, geographic location, etc. This is a great resource for marketing studies.
