Finding Books

Search the Library Catalog for books and other materials in the Consortium Library and other libraries in southcentral Alaska.

NOTE: ARLIS will have many relevant books, so don't limit your search to Consortium Library only!

Helpful tips:

  • If you know the title of the book, click Title and enter the title of the book in the search box provided. For more help watch this short how-to video.
  • If you are searching for books on a topic, choose Subject or Keyword.

Additional how-to videos include:

What do I do if the book is checked out?

If a book that you want is already checked out, you can place a HOLD so the book cannot be renewed and you will be notified when it is returned.

Locate the item in the catalog and click on Place a Hold on the far right.  Watch this short how-to video for more information.  If you have problems placing a hold, watch the "Problems Placing a Hold" tutorial.

What do I do if the book (or book chapter) I want is not at UAA?
